Cocoa Cafe – A Community Hub with a Digital Presence
Cocoa Cafe is a non-profit coffee shop, kitchen incubator, and community space in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Their mission is to support aspiring culinary entrepreneurs, provide affordable commissary space for food truck operators, and create a welcoming gathering place for the local community.
The Challenge
Despite its strong community mission, Cocoa Cafe didn’t have an online presence that matched its impact. Information about events, kitchen rentals, and the café’s purpose was scattered and hard to find. They also needed a way to highlight their non-profit mission and invite donations to fund renovations, equipment, and new programs.

Cocoa Cafe needed a digital hub that felt welcoming, organized, and functional. I built a custom WordPress site designed to highlight their mission and support their growth. The site balances storytelling with practical tools—clear donation flows, program and rental pages, and SEO-friendly structure—so that visitors can easily understand their purpose and take action. Beyond design, I integrated contact forms for vendors, Printify for branded merchandise sales, and structured navigation to make every offering easy to find.
